Our sell out Gelato Appreciation Classes now happen in Melbourne! Once a month (or there abouts), we open the doors to our Fitzroy store on a Saturday morning so you can join us for class. Part gelato making, part info session, part science lesson, and part gelato degustation - it's just as good as our Sydney one, just without the need for a flight on Tiger Airways.

By visiting Messina HQ in Rosebery, you’ll get to see what goes on behind the scenes, meet our chefs and we’ll even let you in on a few of our gelato secrets.

If you really want to get into the nitty gritty detail and learn the finer details of how to make gelato the Messina way, book in for one of our ‘hands on’ gelato making classes and become a Master Gelatiere! Each participant will create and pasteurise their own gelato or sorbet flavour using a Thermomix and learn how to plate the perfect dessert with the gelato you’ve made. You’ll come away knowing what to put in gelato, when to put it in, and how much is juuuuust right.

Since opening our doors to the good people of Canberra, we thought it would be only fitting that we open our kitchen to them too. Hosted at our Braddon store on a Saturday morning, we invite you for your front seat tour of our kitchen and the chance to get some inside secrets on what makes our gelato as good as it is.
