We know a lot of our customers have already donated to other fundraisers, but we really want to do more. So we've set up a Messina Bushfire Appeal via GoFundMe with 10+ Golden Tickets up for grabs, to help raise as much as we can for those in need.

We've donated to the NSW Rural Fire Services, The Red Cross and WIRES. Our store staff are also donating all of their tips to the same charities, so next time you drop in, leave your change in their bushfire collection box. But sadly over the last few weeks, the bushfire disaster has worsened, displacing thousands of people, taking lives and destroying whole species and their habitats.

Make a donation for your chance to win a MESSINA GOLDEN TICKET (FREE MESSINA FOR A YEAR) + a free gelato cake of your choice on your birthday! All funds raised go directly to the Australian Red Cross.

The more money we raise, the more prizes we’ll give away!

  • If we raise up to $10k we’ll give away 10 x GOLDEN TICKETS and birthday cakes (over $20,000 in gelato value)
  • If we raise over $20k we’ll give away 20 x GOLDEN TICKETS and 20 x birthday cakes (over $40,000 in gelato value)
  • If we raise over $30k we’ll give away 30 x GOLDEN TICKETS and 30 x birthday cakes (over $60,000 in gelato value)

Donate a minimum of $10 (or anything above) to this fundraiser before Friday 17th Jan at 5pm.

Winners will be picked at random on Monday 20th January and direct messaged through GoFundMe (keep an eye out on the email you donated with).
Each winner will receive a golden ticket which grants them free Messina for a year and a birthday gelato cake of their choice, redeemable at any Messina store in Australia.

The prize is 366 single scoops (it’s a leap year), which the recipient can use whenever they like in 2020…have a gelato party with 365 of your mates or eat 1 scoop per day — we don’t mind.
Scoops are redeemable via the Messina App - more details on how to redeem will be sent to winners once selected.
